COURSE OVERVIEW
Are you wishing to provide safe medication assistance by supporting clients to self-administer their medication?
Join this nationally recognised short course to learn the knowledge and practical skills essential to provide medication assistance within a community and health care context. You will learn and develop valuable skills to support clients safely with their medication requirements.
COURSE DETAILS
The following units will be delivered as part of this skill set:
HLTAAP001 Recognise Healthy Bodies
HLTHPS006 Assist clients with medication
training.gov.au – CHCSS00070 Assist Clients with Medication Skill Set
DELIVERY AND DURATION
- 20 hours of self-paced online learning
- 12 hours of face-to-face practical training
- 10 hours of on-the-job training
- Online learning and theory assessment MUST be completed before attending the face-to-face practical training and on-the-job training
