Gain the theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for providing person-centred support to people who require assistance due to ageing or disability. The CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) is a nationally recognised qualification providing you with the confidence needed to gain employment in a range of care and support roles.

Delivery And Duration:
- 39 week (9 months) mixed mode online course
- 2 days mandatory attendance in class per month at one of our sites
- Online study through weekly webinars with a trainer (synchronous, real-time learning and self-directed learning online)
- 15 units (subjects) including 9 core and 6 electives
- Class times – 8.30am-4.30pm
- Students may need to spend 10 hours per week on research and self-directed learning from the course materials (including completing assessments)
Work placement
- 120 hours of vocational placement is required which can be met through their workplace hours (must be in a direct support role with clients). Please note that evidence of hours from workplace will be required.
- Monday to Friday with own transport required
