Clare is having an amazing time at Frocals, a café in Kings Beach on the Sunshine Coast, where she spends her mornings serving customers and building valuable workplace skills.
As part of her community participation through STEPS Community Support, Clare has embraced the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and connect with others. She assists the team each morning by serving customers and helping wherever she can with cleaning and preparing orders.
Clare particularly enjoys the social side of the role and the opportunity to continue developing her customer service skills. Her friendly personality and willingness to learn have quickly made her popular with the café’s regular customers.
With support from the Frocals team, she is also learning new hospitality skills. Dan, the café’s owner, has been teaching Clare how to use the coffee machine, giving her the chance to expand her knowledge and gain practical barista experience.
Clare’s growing confidence and enthusiasm have been wonderful for the STEPS Community Support team to see.
