Sunshine Coast Plant Swap
STEPS Nursery and All Things Garden present the first annual Sunshine Coast Plant Swap!
Bring along your seedlings and plants to swap with other community members for new and exciting additions to your garden.
Come along and enjoy a sausage sizzle, plant pest and disease Q&A, a Kokedama workshop, kid’s activities, plants galore and more!
Money raised will help fund the expansion of STEPS Nursery to allow for a greater variety of plants and more opportunities to give back to the community.
Date 25/02/2017
Time 9am to 4pm, BBQ all day. Main Plant Swap 1pm – 3pm. Kokedama workshop at 11am and plant pest and disease experts on hand from 12:30pm.
Location STEPS Nursery, 9 George St, Caloundra (additional parking on Ulm St.)
Want to swap some things from your garden? We have just a few important rules to remember.
- Plants need to be in a container
- Label plants as best you can
- Plants should be well watered
- Pest and disease free plants only
- Established plants or cuttings are preferred
- You will receive a token for each plant you bring to redeem for a plant of your choice
- Bring boxes, bags or trays to help you get your new plants home
- Any remaining plants at the end of the day will be donated to STEPS Nursery
