STEPS has launched an online BSB30120 Certificate III in Business course, offering eligible Queensland residents access to job-ready business skills training through flexible, part-time online study.

All learning is self-paced over 48 weeks to support people who want to start a career in business administration, strengthen their existing workplace skills, or explore new opportunities.

STEPS CEO Cassie Stanley said the online course will help make business training more accessible for a significant number of Queenslanders.

“For many years, STEPS has helped participants earn a Certificate III in Business certification through in-person education, and we are excited to launch delivery of this course in an online environment,” Mrs Stanley said.

“Education has the power to change lives, and a nationally-recognised qualification can be the first step towards new opportunities. With the flexibility to study from home and learn around existing commitments, more people can access pathways that support their career goals and help them achieve outcomes they may have previously thought were out of reach,” she said.

Participants will learn how to use computers and common business software, create and edit professional documents, effectively communicate, problem solve, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Enrolment is completed in-person at any Queensland STEPS site. Course fees start at $99 for eligible concession participants and $249 for eligible non-concession participants.

New cohorts begin monthly, and interested learners are encouraged to visit the course webpage or contact the Customer Care Team on 1300 131 965 or customercare@stepsgroup.com.au

This project is proudly supported and funded by the Queensland Government. Career Start supports Queensland job seekers to start their career or move into more skilled roles or full-time employment.
