Ready for Work participant Chloe worked at The Ark Animal Hospital at Palmerston for her placement. During her work experience she learned hygiene and infection control protocols, surgical theatre, and animal care and control.

Chloe enjoyed her time at the veterinary hospital, but her time was cut short as she had an allergic reaction to some of the animals.

Chloe performed all tasks competently and showed initiative at times when her supervisor was busy.
