STEPS’ Skills for Education and Employment Program (SEE) has officially launched in Queensland’s coastal town of Noosa, bringing innovative new education opportunities to the local community.

On Friday 15 November, new participants and community figures, including Noosa Councillor Karen Finzel, joined the STEPS team to celebrate the new launch and meet the team of Trainers.

STEPS Executive Manager of Education and Training Cassie Stanley said that the Program’s continued expansion has the potential to help hundreds of Australians find employment or pursue further training options.

“I believe that when you enrol in a STEPS course, you join a community,” she said.

“Our participants make such valuable, lifechanging connections with their Trainers and peers, and the skills they learn can be used to pursue their passion or forge a new career path. It’s genuinely incredible to see the progress everyone makes.”

With personalised learning and flexible course options to help participants develop their language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills, STEPS is proud to bring its inclusive and engaging SEE Program to more locations across Australia.

“My favourite aspect of the SEE Program is the people,” Cassie said.

“Our participants join to develop their skills and gain new experiences, but they form incredible friendships, create beautiful memories with the people around them and often find the skills they learn are transformative. It’s truly special to witness and is one of the many reasons I’m proud to be a part of STEPS.”

Prospective participants are encouraged to visit the SEE webpage to find out more about the program and apply. New participants can begin their journey immediately, with flexible options to find the learning structure that suits them best.

The new STEPS SEE Program site in Noosa Heads joins other Sunshine Coast locations including Caloundra, Nambour and Maroochydore in offering the program, as well as Gympie in the north.
