Delivery and duration
- 39 week (9 months) mixed mode online course
- 2 days mandatory attendance in class per month at our Hobart site
- Online study through weekly webinars with a trainer, real-time learning and self-directed learning online at the same time
- 15 units (subjects) including 9 core and 6 electives
- Class times 9.30am to 2.30pm or negotiated with the trainer
- Students may need to spend 10 hours per week on research and self-directed learning from the course materials (including completing assessments)
Work placement
- 120 hours of vocational placement is required which can be met through their workplace hours (must be in a direct support role with clients). Please note that evidence of hours from workplace will be required.
- Monday to Friday with own transport required
