STEPS is proud to announce the appointment of Cassie Stanley as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Cassie is already a familiar face to the STEPS community, having spent years leading the organisation’s education and training programs with unmatched energy and insight.
With a strong background in disability employment, Indigenous training, and strategic HR leadership, Cassie brings a wealth of experience to her new role.
Her leadership is grounded in a genuine commitment to creating opportunities for people through inclusive, community-focused solutions.
Throughout her four year tenure at STEPS, Cassie has held several key roles: Operations Manager, Regional Manager, General Manager for the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) and Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP), and most recently, Executive Manager for Education and Training.
Her leadership has helped shape innovative and inclusive training programs that support individuals across Queensland, Tasmania and the Northern Territory to achieve their goals and move forward with confidence.
“It’s an honour to step into this role and continue building on the incredible work of our teams,” Cassie said.
“My mission is to keep creating opportunities and delivering services that make a real difference in people’s lives.”
STEPS Managing Director Carmel Crouch AM said she was confident Cassie is the right person to lead STEPS into the future.
“Cassie’s experience, leadership and passion for positive impact make her the perfect person to lead STEPS,” Ms Crouch said.
“Her deep understanding of our mission and her extensive experience will be invaluable as we grow and strengthen our services and programs.”
Under Cassie’s leadership, STEPS will continue to expand its life-changing services, from employment support and accredited training to programs that promote inclusion, independence, and long-term success.
