STEPS Charity was officially launched at the spectacular inaugural Grand Winter Ball in Caloundra on July 16 2011.

The charity has been set up to raise the profile of the work  done and the contribution made by the many and varied STEPS Group programmes and projects to those who are disadvantaged and living in our community.

STEPS  Charity wants to give  businesses and individuals the opportunity to support STEPS in its purpose of creating opportunities to assist and enable  disadvantaged and disabled people towards independence.

Key sponsors of that  event included Century 21-Grant Smith Properties, Prima Office Furniture, Holmans Accountants, White House Celebrations, Sunshine Coast Council, Red Energy , Mark Cotterell Jeweller, XS Entertainment, Queensland Complete Printing , Mix FM, Southern Cross Ten, Sunshine Coast Daily and VA Creative Agency.

Thanks to the wonderful support of business across our networks in Western Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland and Tasmania, STEPS continues to offer life changing services to those in the community who need it most. Every day through the untiring work of our staff and supporters, we  endeavour  to grow the STEPS Charity into one that is recognised nationally for its efforts to support and encourage disadvantaged people in their effort towards gaining independence and an improved quality of life.
