Hard work has paid off for one young kitchen hand who has been awarded runner up Employee of the Year at one of Bundaberg’s hospitality outlets, Across the Waves Sports Club.

Under the guidance of Executive Chef Craig Selmack, and with support from his Employment Consultant Jodie Cox, Mark quickly picked up the skills and work ethic that not only scored him the acknowledgement of the club, but will also see him joining an Across the Waves industry delegation to Singapore.

Employment Consultant Jodie Cox couldn’t be prouder of Mark’s achievements and says he is very excited about the trip and his future with Across the Waves.

Mark is an inspiration showing us that with mentoring and support all of our job seekers have the opportunity to achieve their employment and career aspirations.
