Looking for work, but not sure where to start?
Our Work Mates Job Ready Program is a great way to develop your existing skills and get you started on your journey towards employment.
Our program consists of two sessions per week which are designed to engage and inspire you, help you discover your passion, identify your goals, and support you on your path to employment.
How we support you
We’ll work with you one-on-one to create a learning plan and our Trainers will support you to build your skills and confidence. Being part of our Job Ready Program will give you the opportunity in both one-on-one and group sessions to:
- Feel inspired about learning new skills and looking for work
- Make friends and connections in a fun environment
- Set goals and identify pathways to achieve them
- Build confidence, grow independence and develop self-belief
- Create a great resume and learn job interview skills
- Learn how to search and apply for jobs
- Develop positive workplace behaviours and seek employment
- Understand the workplace environment

- Group and individual work placements in different industries to help discover your passion
- Develop independence through travel training
- Identify opportunities for further study
- Gain relevant qualifications
- Small business mentoring
- Provide introductions to industry specialists
- Tailored and individualised guidance and support
When you’re job ready, we will also assist you with the transition from our program to employment or the Disability Employment Service and provide ongoing support.
